Arrival in Rhodes at 08:30; Rhodes Island, the largest of the 12 islands belonging to Greece, is located in the Aegean Sea and directly opposite Marmaris. Rhodes almost entirely earns its living from tourism. The city of Rhodes, which is considered the center of the island, is divided into two parts: the Old Town and the New Town. As its name suggests, the Old Town is the area where historical buildings are located. The city is surrounded by 12 m thick walls and is influenced by the knights and Ottoman period. The Old Town, once frequented by knight riders, captures more tourists compared to other areas of the island with its narrow streets, mystical atmosphere of the castle, churches, and mosques. The Archaeological Museum, which was once used as a hospital by the knights, and the statue of Aphrodite in this museum are among the places worth seeing. Lindos is the most visited place on the island after the city center of Rhodes. Located 47 km away from the city of Rhodes, Lindos is among the favored destinations for tourists with its whitewashed cubic houses, cobalt blue windows adorned with geraniums, narrow winding streets, and the ancient castle that opens a page from history when you reach the top of the city.
