Tour Program
Meeting point and departure at Kadıköy Marriage Office at 23:00. After picking up our participants from the front of Mecidiyeköy Tump Tower at 23:30 and from the front of İncirli Ömür Plaza at 23:59, we proceed on the TEM highway towards Kapıkule Border Gate via Çorlu and Edirne. After completing passport and customs procedures, we continue our journey to Sofia by crossing into Bulgaria.
We arrive in Thessaloniki in the morning. First, we start our panoramic city tour. During the tour, we will stroll along the waterfront, visiting important structures such as the White Tower, Rotunda, Fair Area, and monuments from the Ottoman and Byzantine periods, as well as the Church of Saint Dimitrios. Afterwards, we will have the opportunity to see the statues of Alexander the Great, Hamza Bey Mosque, E. Venizelos, and P. Konstantin. The squares of Vardar, Macedonia, Aristotle, and Eleftherios will also be among the places we will visit during our tour. Later, we will visit the house of our Great Leader Atatürk and then proceed to our hotel. In the evening, guests who wish can participate in an extra paid Greek tavern tour, enjoying the taste of the dishes accompanied by Greek music. (55 Euro)
After having breakfast at the hotel, we set off towards Kavala. After approximately a 2-3 hour journey, we arrive in Kavala and start our city tour. During this tour, we see important landmarks such as aqueducts, the port, the castle, neoclassical buildings from the 19th century, Pangia, the old and new town, the Acropolis, the lighthouse, and the churches of Agios Nicholas and Teodoro Kimissi. We will also visit the soup kitchen, house, and statue of Mehmet Ali Pasha from Kavala. After some free time for lunch, you may join an optional panoramic city tour of İskeçe, Porto Lagos, and Gümülcine, organized for the whole group at a time determined by our guide (10 Euro). After our tour, we set off towards the İpsala border gate. After customs and passport procedures, we head to Istanbul via the Tekirdağ and Silivri routes. After a short köfte break in Tekirdağ, we arrive in Istanbul in the evening and drop off our guests at the points where we picked them up.
