During the program, we will also see the history of Russia and watch the local dances of different ethnic groups within the country. After the tour, transfer to our hotel. Overnight at our hotel.
After having breakfast at our hotel in the morning, we will have free time. Guests who wish can join the optional tour of the Kremlin Palace & Moscow Metro & Arbat & Nazım Hikmet’s Grave. The Kremlin, which is also the working office of Russian President Vladimir Putin, has been considered the most important church in Moscow since the 14th century with the Cathedral of the Ascension of the Blessed Virgin Mary, and it also houses the world's largest bell. We will continue our tour with the Moscow Metro. Initiated by Stalin in 1931, the Moscow Metro is acknowledged by everyone as the most beautiful metro in the world in terms of interior architecture and decoration, even when compared to the metros of New York, Paris, or London. Arbat Street, which runs through the center of Moscow, is a traffic-free street that everyone passing through the city visits at least once and enjoys walking from one end to the other. Here, you can browse colorful shop windows, taste the finest examples of Russian and world cuisine, sit in chic cafes that rival those of Paris, and most enjoyably, you can sit on a bench and watch the Russians who have immersed themselves in the flow of life. If you want to acquire a Moscow souvenir, this street is the right place. Then we will continue our tour by visiting Nazım Hikmet’s grave. We will leave our hotel for the visit to Novodevichy Convent (which also houses Nazım Hikmet’s grave). One of the most important monasteries in Russia, Novodevichy was founded in 1524 and has since been the place where many tsarina candidates have met their end. Despite Napoleon's order to destroy it in 1812, the nuns managed to prevent this decision. During the visit, we will visit Nazım Hikmet’s grave located within the monastery. After the tour, we will be transferred back to our hotel. Overnight at our hotel.
After having breakfast at our hotel in the morning, we will check out of our rooms and transfer to the train station. Following our train journey from Moscow to St. Petersburg, we will be greeted upon arrival and then proceed with our private vehicle for a "Panoramic City Tour of St. Petersburg." During the panoramic city tour, we will have the opportunity to see the streets displaying the finest examples of the world's most famous architects and artists, as well as the city's historical and tourist attractions. Notable places to be visited include the famous Nevsky Prospect featured in the works of renowned authors, the Old Port Lighthouses, the Mint, the Clock Tower, the Statue of Peter the Great, the Winter Palace, Palace Square, the Admiralty Building, and the Aurora Cruiser. After our city tour, we will transfer to our hotel. Free time and accommodation at our hotel in St. Petersburg. At the end of the tour, guests wishing to join can participate in the "Russian Night Tour," which will be organized by our guide as an extra. During this tour, we will have the opportunity to see the summer palace that Peter designed himself, built by Italian architect Rastrelli, located in the Gulf of Finland. This magnificent palace complex, with its building rivaling that of Versailles in Paris, is adorned with 150 monumental fountains and 4 waterfalls in its gardens. Although it suffered great damage during World War II, it has been restored while maintaining all its splendor and fidelity to its original architecture. Then we will continue with our canal tour. During our canal tour, we will see St. Petersburg from the canals, reaching up to the Neva River, accompanied by our guide. After the tour, transfer back to our hotel. Overnight at the hotel.
After breakfast, free time. Guests who wish can participate in the optional "Pushkin Tsar Village and Peter & Paul Tours." The park, palace, and buildings complex known as Tsar Village was constructed by Catherine in the 18th century and covers an area of 600 hectares, with the main building being the Catherine Palace. The Amber Room here is very interesting, however, it is often not visited by many tourists due to the high volume of visitors during the summer months. This famous village, where the aristocracy of the Tsarist era met with the Tsar family, also houses the school where the famous poet Pushkin was educated. Then guests who wish can join the Peter & Paul tour. The first building in St. Petersburg, built by Peter in the 1700s, has a remarkable grandeur. The cathedral located in the fortress on the Neva River and the burial places of the Romanov Dynasty within it attract many tourists. The angel on top of the cathedral, the tallest building in the city, has become a symbol of the city. The famous fortress dungeons have hosted many renowned figures over the years, including Dostoevsky, Trotsky, and Lenin's brother Alexander. At the end of our tour, we will transfer to our hotel.
