Meeting point in front of the counter at Istanbul Airport International Departures Terminal. After ticket, baggage, and passport procedures, we will depart for Tirana with Albania Airlines flight number ZB1005 at 10:40. Arrival in Tirana at 11:40 local time. After passport, baggage, and customs procedures, we will depart for Podgorica, the capital of Montenegro, with our special buses. After our arrival, we will have a panoramic tour of Podgorica, the smallest capital in the Balkans. After free time in the charming streets and square of the city, we will transfer to our hotel. Guests who wish can join the extra organized tour of Lake Skadar (45EUR). This lake, also known as Lake Shkodra, is the largest lake in the Balkans. It is home to over 270 species of birds, including endangered pelicans, and this peaceful lake will impress you with its nature. We will end this tour by reaching Rijeka Crnojevica with our private boat. Overnight at the hotel.
After the breakfast we will take in our hotel, there will be free time. Guests who wish can join the full-day Kotor-Tivat-Perast-Budva tour organized at an extra cost (75 EUR). Our first stop is Kotor, a small city but quite significant in terms of its historical and architectural artifacts, which has been included in the UNESCO World Heritage list since 1979. During our walking city tour,, we will see the most important buildings of Kotor that carry the texture of Venetian culture and then we will start to walk around Kotor Bay, visiting Perast, which is a postcard-like place with its unique views.Our journey along the exquisite coasts of this bay will end in the city of Tivat, where Porto Montenegro is located. Known as the Monaco of Montenegro, Tivat's luxurious cafes offer a place to relax and you can relieve the day's fatigue by swimming or walking on the beach. After our tour, we head to Budva. After a panoramic tour in Budva, we will take a break to see the magnificent St Stefan from the top, which is a former fishing settlement that was nationalized and later sold to a Singaporean multimillionaire, now known as the holiday destination of the jet set, and then we will transfer to our hotel in Podgorica. After having breakfast at our hotel, we set off for the Albanian city of Shkodra. Shkodra, located by Lake Shkodra which forms the border between Albania and Montenegro, was under Ottoman rule for many years and is one of the most important cities in the Balkans strategically. We will see the city fortress and its walls. During our break in the city center, we will take a short walking tour. After some free time in the center, we will head to the capital city, Tirana. This beautiful city has been caught in wars throughout the 20th century and lived through the dictatorship of Enver Hoxha for 40 years. Founded by Suleiman Pasha in 1614 and becoming the capital of Albania in 1920, we will take a panoramic tour to learn more about it. During our tour, we will see the Ethem Bey Mosque located in Skanderbeg Square, the Historic Clock Tower, the National History Museum, and the Opera House. Some of the places we will view from our vehicle include the Parliament and Prime Ministry buildings, the Presidential Palace, Mother Teresa Square, and the Tirana Pyramid. After our tour of Tirana, there will be free time. Guests who wish can participate in the optional Kruja tour (30 EUR). Kruja is one of the most beautiful places to see in Albania. During the Ottoman period, it was known as Akçahisar. This historic town is located 20 km north of Tirana, the capital of Albania. Surrounded by steep cliffs, the castle spans an area of 800 meters and has surrounding walls. Positioned at a vantage point overlooking the Fushe Kruje plain, within Kruja, the must-see places include the Skanderbeg Museum, the Sarı Saltuk Dergah, the residence of Esad Toptani Pasha, Kruja Castle, the Dolma Baba Bektaşi Tekkesi, the Ottoman Bathhouse, and the Murat Bey Mosque. Overnight stay at our hotel.
After having our breakfast at the hotel, we have free time until the flight hour. Guests who wish can participate in the Berat tour, which is considered the museum city of Albania. (65 EUR) We are heading to Berat, which is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site. In Berat, known historically as the "City of a Thousand Windows," we will see important historical structures such as the Lead Mosque, the Halveti Tekke, the historic Gorica Bridge, and both Muslim and Christian neighborhoods. Then we will have free time in the historical streets of the city. After the tour, we will transfer to the airport. Afterwards, we will transfer to Tirana Airport. After the ticket, baggage, and passport procedures, we will depart for Istanbul at 17:40 with Albania Airlines flight ZB1003 and arrive in Istanbul at 19:40. We hope to see you on your next trip...
