Afterwards, we change planes and depart for Tokyo at 07:40 on Singapore Airlines flight SQ632. At 15:45 local time, we will be transferred to our hotel in Tokyo by our private vehicle waiting for us. For guests who wish, we have an optional nearby tour:
Tokyo Panorama: We will visit the Tsukiji fish market, where we can try some of the freshest fish in the world. We can visit a local restaurant renowned for its superb sushi and taste it, and you can buy Japanese seafood and famous Japanese knives. Next, we will explore the famous Asakusa district and the Sensoji Temple. Then, we will arrive at Ginza, Tokyo's most famous street. The street gets its name from the silver mint “gin”, established in 1612, combined with “za” meaning guild, providing unlimited shopping opportunities. At the end of our tour, we will visit the famous Hachiko statue and the Shibuya area, which features a pedestrian crossing used by one million people every day. (30 euros) Overnight stay at the hotel.
After having breakfast at the hotel, we will have free time. Guests wishing to join us can participate in our surrounding tour:
Kyoto city tour: We will visit the Kinkakuji Temple, made of gold. Our next stop will be the Fushimi Inari Shrine, which featured in the filming of the movie "Memoirs of a Geisha." The hundreds of deity gates lined up will surely captivate you. Afterwards, we will visit the Kiyomizu Temple, where it is believed that the flowing water is sacred. During our free time in the famous Gion area, known for its Geisha culture, we will have the opportunity to enjoy ourselves and take photos. (200 euros) Overnight at the hotel.
After the breakfast we will have at the hotel, there will be free time. For those who wish, we have an optional tour:
DMZ Tour at the Korean border: You will see Korea, the only country divided in two, from another perspective. When we visit this highly secure, demilitarized buffer zone, you will feel what is happening here and understand what has happened to Korea. Please do not forget to bring your passport. During the tour, you will walk on the Freedom Bridge, and descend into the Third Infiltration Tunnel, which was discovered by North Koreans in 1978 and is 1.7 km long. You will take a break at Dorasan Train Station and look over into North Korea from the Observation Center. (125 euros) Overnight stay at the hotel.
After having breakfast at the hotel and completing the check-out procedures, we will have free time until the evening. Guests who wish can participate in our surrounding tours:
Singapore Panorama and Gardens By The Bay tour: The symbol of the city, the Merlion statue with a lion's head and a fish body, Gardens By The Bay, Chinatown, Hindu temple, and giant plaza shopping malls on Orchard Street will be visited. (40 euros)
Sentosa Island of Entertainment: We will take the cable car to Sentosa Island, which was historically used to hold prisoners sentenced to life imprisonment and now holds the title of the world's first entertainment island. We will experience the Madame Tussauds museum that illustrates the short history of Singapore, the Sky Helix Tower, and a 4D adventure. (125 euros)
Night Safari: In a city-organized forest that holds the title of the world's first Night Safari, you will be able to see many predatory animals living in their natural habitats without any barriers between you and them (!). (75 euros)
At 22:30, we will head to the airport. After baggage and ticket procedures, we will depart for Istanbul Airport at 01:45 with Singapore Airlines flight number SQ392. Arrival at 08:00 local time marks the end of our tour.
