Tour Program
You will enter through the 3rd gate of Istanbul Airport, and meet with our valued guests at the THY international flight F counter (counters 1-27) at 05:00 for check-in procedures. We will depart for Catania on THY flight TK1393 at 07:55. We will arrive in Catania at local time 08:15. Our vehicle waiting for us will head towards Etna. While heading towards Etna, we will have the opportunity to take stunning photos of the magnificent Etna mountain, which embraces us with its vegetation and scenery. On our way to the highest active volcano in Europe, we will see the 2nd crater Silvestri, which is 1800 meters high. Don't forget to take a souvenir rock with smoke rising from it! Afterwards, we will continue our tour in the area formed by the lava of the Etna volcano, accompanied by many beautiful sceneries where we can take photos. From here, we will move on to Siracusa. In Siracusa, the city where the famous mathematician Archimedes lived, the places we will visit include the famous Aretusa Fountain, the Cathedral, the Diana Fountain, and the Temple of Apollo. After the tour, we will head to the hotel, check in, and you will have free time. Overnight stay at our hotel.
After breakfast, we start our full-day tour at the time indicated by our guide. In our tour of Savaco, Taormina, Giardini Naxos, we will see the locations where the world-famous movie "The Godfather" was filmed. Then we will visit Bar Vitelli and San Michele Church,
which are among the places we will see. After passing through film-like streets, we head to Taormina, the jewel of the Ionian Sea and the most beautiful coastal town of Sicily. You will love this charming town located at the foot of Mount Tauro, with its incomparable beauty, streets and avenues, and souvenir shops. After visiting here, we will move on to Giardini Naxos, known for its volcanic beach that captivates onlookers, with its colorful streets. Giardini Naxos is a town with a cultural mosaic that was first settled by the Greeks in the 6th century BC, later inhabited by the Phoenicians and Romans. It is a must-see town with its volcanic beaches where you can take magnificent photos. Our tour ends with our visit to Giardini Naxos. We then return to our hotel.
After breakfast, we complete our check-out procedures from the hotel and head to the city center of Catania. During our panoramic city tour, we will see places such as the Duomo Cathedral, the Elephant Fountain, Republic Square (Piazza Repubblica), and Etna Street. Then we arrive in Cefalu. After spending time at the charming fishing village of Cefalu on the shores of the Tyrrhenian Sea, where we will visit the 12th-century historical cathedral, the fishermen's gate, and the unique streets of the city, we will arrive at our hotel in Palermo.
After breakfast, we depart from the hotel for our Monreale tour. We visit the Monreale Cathedral, which is the most important structure of Byzantine architecture in Sicily. With its 6500 m2 of glass mosaics, the cathedral is considered one of the masterpieces of Byzantine art and one of the finest works of art from the Byzantine and Norman periods. Afterwards, we return to the center of Palermo. During our tour, the attractions include Politeama Square, Quattro Canti Square, Via Roma, and Via Liberta streets. Overnight at our hotel.
After breakfast, we complete our hotel check-out procedures and head to Erice, a typical medieval town with walls, courtyard stone houses, and streets, at the time indicated by our guide. During our free time here, you will feel like you are in the Middle Ages. Then we move on to Castellammare del Golfo. This small but charming town of Trapani will impress you with its historical texture and natural beauties. Castellammare del Golfo, one of the significant coral and fishing towns of its time, has a long beach and the Aragonese Castle among the places to see. After spending time here, we proceed to Palermo airport, complete passport and baggage procedures, and depart for Istanbul on Turkish Airlines flight TK1376 at 18:40. We arrive at Istanbul Airport at 23:15 local time. End of our tour.

What to know
Triple rooms are subject to availability of the hotels, and in these types of rooms, the bed assigned to the 3rd person is smaller than standard beds. Triple rooms consist of 1 large bed + 1 extra bed. Extra beds are classified as foldable or sofa beds, so the tour participants accept the potential congestion and bed types in the rooms for the 3rd person and/or child reservations. Child discounts apply only for one child who meets the age criteria staying with 2 adults.
The services included in the tour program, breakfasts taken at the hotel are generally served as a limited menu that aligns with the breakfast culture of the country, commonly referred to as continental breakfast, consisting of butter, jam, bread, tea, or coffee, and may be served in a separate room designated for the group.
