Tour Program
Meeting at 10:00 in front of the AJET counter at Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen airport. We will fly to Sarajevo Airport with AJET Airlines' scheduled flight VF97 at 13:00. We will arrive in Sarajevo at 14:00 local time. After passport, baggage, and customs procedures, we will depart for Mostar with our private buses. On the way, we will stop in the city of Konjic to see the famous Konjic bridge, which has been restored by Turkey, dating back to the Ottoman era, and enjoy coffee by the Neretva river. You can also shop at the wooden handicraft workshops here. Then we continue to Mostar. The city of Mostar is one of the most interesting places in our tour, where the Mostar Bridge, built by Architect Hayreddin in 1557, is a masterpiece of Ottoman architecture. The bridge was destroyed by Croatian artillery during the war in 1992, but with significant contributions from the Republic of Turkey, it was reopened to service in 2004. After the Mostar Bridge, we will see the Koski Mehmet Pasha Mosque. Then we continue towards Blagaj. At the end of our tours, we will transfer to our hotel in Trebinje for accommodation. (The Trebinje accommodation may vary depending on the seasonal intensity of the region.)
After having breakfast at the hotel, we enter Montenegro, one of the youngest countries in the world and the pearl of the Adriatic Sea. Then, we move to Kotor, an important historical and natural paradise and a tourist attraction. Here, during our walking tour of the Old Town-Castle, you will get to know this charming place. After a stop to view the magnificent St. Stefan, which was once a fishermen's settlement that was expropriated and later sold to a Singaporean multi-billionaire and is currently undergoing renovation for tourism, we will head to Budva, one of the most famous vacation centers of the Balkans with its stunning beaches and colorful nightlife. During our walking tour in Budva, we will visit Stari Grad (the old town center) and the castle. You will have free time to fully enjoy Budva. Afterward, we will transfer to our hotel for an overnight stay. (Shkodra accommodation may vary depending on the regional season intensity)
After having breakfast at the hotel, we depart for Ohrid where we will be staying. Our first stop is the capital of Albania, Tirana, where we begin our panoramic city tour. During our tour, we will see some of the following places: Ethem Bey Mosque, the historic Clock Tower, the National Museum, the Opera and Ballet Building, the Parliament and Prime Ministry buildings, the Presidential Palace, and Skanderbeg Square. After the tour, we continue to Ohrid. Upon arrival, we will enjoy our dinner in a restaurant with an entertaining Makedonian Night. After dinner, we will transfer to our hotel.
After having breakfast at the hotel, we start our city tour of Ohrid. During this tour, we will see the panoramic views of St. Panteleymon, the most important church of the Byzantine era in Ohrid, the Aya Sofya Church still used for concerts today, the Roman-era Amphitheater, Car Samuel Fortress, St. Bogorodica Perivlerta, Ali Pasha Mosque, Chinar Square, the Century Walls, and the Ottoman Mansions. After the city tour, we move towards Bitola (Monastir). On our way, we will have a panoramic view of the palace of Resneli Niyazi, one of the most famous figures of the Committee of Union and Progress, who gained fame due to his contributions in the Turkish-Greek war. We arrive in Bitola. During our visit to Manastır (Bitola), we will visit the Turkish Bazaar, the Bedesten, İshakiye Mosque, the New Mosque, and experience the most emotional moments at the Military High School where Atatürk graduated, as well as the Atatürk Museum. Afterward, we head to Skopje. Upon arriving in Skopje, we start our panoramic city tour. After this tour, we arrive at our hotel where we will stay overnight.
After having our breakfast at the hotel, we head towards Skopje. First, we visit Tetova (Kalkandelen), the third largest city in Macedonia, mostly populated by Turks. After visiting the magnificent Alaca Mosque, built in 1495 with the support of two sisters and decorated with colorful walls, we continue on our way. Upon our arrival in Skopje, we start our panoramic city tour. Among the places we will see in Skopje, which is also the birthplace of our famous poet Yahya Kemal Beyatlı, are Yahya Pasha Mosque, the Clock Tower, the Turkish Bazaar, Isa Bey Mosque, Mustafa Pasha Mosque, Murat Pasha Mosque, Kapan Han, Sulu Han, Davut Pasha Bath, and the Stone Bridge. We walk along the banks of the Vardar River, observing the Turkish and Jewish neighborhoods on the other side of the river. During this walk, we will see Macedonia Square, the Ottoman Bridge, and Davut Pasha Bath from the outside. Then we head to the Turkish Bazaar and start to see the historical artifacts in the Turkish Bazaar. In Skopje, which has 17 Han buildings constructed during the Ottoman period, only 3 Han buildings remain today. We visit Sulu Han and Kapan Han, both built in the second half of the 15th century. After our visits, free time will be given for shopping in the Turkish Bazaar. Shushka pepper, ustrumca peanuts, and chariks are among the items we can buy. After the end of our tour, we will transfer to our hotel and check into our rooms. Overnight stay at our hotel.
After having breakfast at the hotel, we set off to Belgrade. Upon arrival, we will have a panoramic city tour during which we will see the Church of Saint Sava, Kalemegdan Fortress, Military Museum, Istanbul Gate, Clock Tower, Damat Ali Pasha Tomb, Dungeon Gate, Leopold Gate, Sokullu Mehmed Pasha Fountain, Stefan Lazarevic Monument, Nebojsa Tower, Saborna Church, Republic Square, Terazije Square, and Stone Square. After the city tour, we will transfer to our hotel.
After having our breakfast at the hotel, we are heading to Sarajevo. Upon our arrival, we start our panoramic city tour of Sarajevo. Among the places to visit are a stroll through the cobbled streets of the most distinguished bazaar in Europe, the Gazi Husrev-beg Mosque, the Clock Tower, the Catholic Cathedral, the Orthodox Churches, the Jewish Synagogue, the Latin Bridge where World War I broke out, and the Fatih Mosque attributed to Fatih Sultan Mehmet. We will conclude our panoramic city tour at the eternal flame. After the city tour, there will be free time. At the end of the tour, transfer to our hotel, room distribution, overnight at our hotel.
After having breakfast at the hotel in the morning, free time. Gathering at the time determined by our guide and transfer to Sarajevo Airport. Departure at 15:00 to Istanbul Sabiha Gokcen Airport on AJET Airlines scheduled flight VF98, and the end of our tour.
