Tour Program
Istanbul New Airport, meeting at the Turkish Airlines counter at the International Terminal at 06:45. After check-in and passport procedures, we will depart for Moscow at 09:45 on Turkish Airlines flight TK417. Arrival in Moscow at 13:30 local time. After arrival, there will be a free panoramic city tour of Moscow, which will include the following sights: Leningrad Avenue, Tverskaya Street, Parliament Building, Bolshoi Theatre, Lubyanka Square, KGB Headquarters, St. Basil's Cathedral, Red Square, GUM Shopping Center, Cathedral of Christ the Savior, and the Duma Building. After the tour, transfer to our hotel, check-in procedures, and room allocations. Dinner and overnight stay at our hotel.
Free time until the transfer to the ship after breakfast. Guests who wish can join the Extra Kremlin and Nazım Hikmet Tomb Visit + Metro Arbat Tour (125 Eur). After the tour, transfer to our ship, check into the cabins, and the ship will set sail. In the evening, welcome cocktail where you will meet the captain and the ship's crew. Dinner and overnight stay on our ship.
After breakfast, there will be an informational meeting where details about the ports to be visited, the waterways to be navigated, and the working system of the lock chambers will be provided. After lunch, you will have free time on the upper deck to enjoy the beauties of the Volga River. Later, arrival in Uglich. In this charming city located by the Volga River, we will take a free walking tour of Uglich, where we will visit the Transfiguration Cathedral in the Old Kremlin Square and the Church of St. Dmitry on the Blood, built at the site where Ivan the Terrible's son Dmitry died at the age of 9. The ship will depart at 18:00. Dinner and overnight stay will be on our ship.
After breakfast, you can participate in various activities on the ship and enjoy the beauty of the Volga River from the deck. Arrival at Kuzino harbor at 12:00. An interactive tour awaits us in Kuzino, located on the banks of the Shensya River. We learn important information about this area, which was a significant trade route in ancient times and an important waterway used by the Vikings, through interactive and entertaining activities set in the atmosphere of the 10th-11th centuries. Return to the ship at the specified time and the ship's departure. After lunch, you can sip your coffee on the upper deck of the ship while enjoying the almost picturesque views along the riverbank. Dinner and overnight stay on our ship.
After breakfast, you can enjoy the beauty of Lake Onega, the second largest lake in Europe, from the deck. After lunch, our ship arrives in Petrozavodsk, the capital of the Karelia Autonomous Republic. We set off to explore the important squares and streets of this city built on the shores of Lake Onega. Among the places we will see are the famous Onega Quay and Gubernator Park, where the city residents spend their free time. After the city tour, there will be free time in the center. Then we return to the ship and it sets sail. Dinner and overnight stay will be on our ship.
After breakfast, you can participate in the activities on the ship or enjoy the beauties of the Svir River from the deck. Around noon, arrival at Svirstroy. After lunch, we disembark to explore this charming town on the banks of the Svir River. Svirstroy is home to one of the first hydroelectric power plants in the USSR. This plant was a pioneer in the construction of hydroelectric power plants that began during the Soviet Union era and played an important role in the development of energy infrastructure in the USSR, bearing the name of engineer and academician Genrikh Graftio. Svirstroy also holds significant importance in the history of Christianity in Russia. After our tour here, we return to the ship and it departs. Dinner and overnight stay on our ship.
Arrival at Valaam after breakfast on the ship. The Valaam archipelago, located north of Lake Ladoga, the largest lake in Europe, is captivating with its nature and historical monasteries. During our walking tour of Valaam, the largest of the archipelago, we will discover historical buildings dating back to the 14th century and the breathtaking natural beauty of the island. After the tour, return to the ship and the ship's departure for St. Petersburg. Tonight, you will be hosted at the Captain's Gala Dinner. Overnight on our ship.
Arrival in St. Petersburg at 09:00 after breakfast. After disembarkation procedures from the ship, we will embark on a complimentary panoramic city tour of St. Petersburg with our private vehicle; the sights to be seen include the Alexander Nevsky Monastery, Nevsky Prospect street, Count Stroganov Palace, Palace Square, Winter Palace, St. Isaac's Cathedral, Smolny Monastery, Anichkov Palace and Bridge, and the Church of the Savior on Spilled Blood. Additionally, today we will have an optional tour of the Hermitage Museum (75 Euro). Later, guests who wish can join an optional Canal Tour (65 Euro). After the tour, transfer to our hotel, check into the rooms, and dinner. Overnight stay at our St. Petersburg hotel.
After breakfast at the hotel, for those guests who wish, we will carry out our tour to Pushkin Catherine Palace and Peterhof Park. First, we will head to Pushkin Village, which is 30 km away from St. Petersburg. In Pushkin Village, formerly known as Tsarskoe Selo (Tsar Village), we will visit the Catherine Palace, where an important period of Alexander Pushkin's life took place. While exploring the rooms of this palace, which holds a special place among the summer palaces of the Tsars, we will gain a better understanding of the life of that era. After that, we will go to the village of Peterhof, located on the coast of the Baltic Sea. Here, we will see the magnificent parks and gardens of the Peterhof Palace. This park and garden complex overlooking the Gulf of Finland is particularly noted for its fountains, sculptures, and monuments placed within the park. After our tours, we will return to the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.
After breakfast, we complete our checkout procedures from the hotel and transfer to St. Petersburg Airport. After check-in and passport procedures, we depart for Istanbul New Airport at 12:50 with Turkish Airlines flight TK402. We arrive in Istanbul at 16:50 local time, and the end of our tour.
